Transposing Music
I have a piece of music that I would like to transpose. Would I be able to transpose it with the free MuseScore software? If so, what would it take to transpose the music - would I have to manually write-in the existing sheet music in order to transpose it? Is there a way to upload the existing sheet music in an easier way?

Yes you can transpose in MuseScore, in the program, see https://musescore.org/en/node/35901, and in the App too, no need to rewrite anything that is already in a format MuseScore understands, see https://musescore.org/en/node/36111
If by "existing sheet music", you mean, a piece of paper with ink on it, you *try* the experimental automatic "optical music recognition" technology provided by the "File / Import PDF" command in MuseScore, but don't get your hopes up - this is kind of pushing the limits of current technology.
But entering the msuic into MuseScore by hand is perfectly doable - it's as fast as typing once you get the hang of it - and then you can transpose easily.
