Measure not Complete

• May 26, 2015 - 03:15

For some reason, when I tried uploading this, it said that some of the measures weren't complete. I don't know why but I am really confused. It is actually a remake of some else's so cellist can play it. Please help! File here: Fairy_Tail_Main_Theme_Slow_Version_Cello.mscz

If you try to load the file into MuseScore, it tells you exactly where the problem is - measure 23 and measure 31. Is there a reason you have this measure set to an actual duration 33/32? Is this file perhaps the result of an import from some other format, like maybe a scan of a PDF file via MusicXML? If so, then the fault probably lies with the software that created the file. If this was created from scratch in MuseScore, could you share some details about why you changed the actual duration of those measures and anything else unusual you might have done to cause them to not have the correct length?

Meanwhile, bets way to fix it is to completely remove those measures, then insert new ones and re-enter the music.

I have a very similar problem. The measures are all correct and play perfect BEFORE I save the file. As soon as I reopen the file I get the same error message. File was created from scratch and I did not change any measure durations. Upon reopening ALL measure are wrong (sample pasted below)

Measure 1 Staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 8/16
Measure 2 Staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 8/16
