Secondary Instruments

In the Hal Leonard Note-For-Note (not(e!) always the case...) Transcription range, the primary instrument is there, but secondary ones are also present, and can pop-up mid-way through a song, without the stave(s) having to begin from the start (they can, however - perhaps disappearing later?).

Can such an effect be replicated in MuseScore?
