Creating guitar rhythm lines that playback
I am notating a jazz arrangement with a guitar rhythm line. Is it possible to playback the score and hear these chords without the user seeing the staff notation or staff line that produces the chords – just a fretboard diagram and chord name.

Best way to do that is to use a separately playback staff and mark it invisible in Edit / Instruments. You might also try entering the actual chord voicings you want on the staff with the chord symbols, and after running Edit / Tools / Toggle Rhythmic Slash Notation, turning the "Play" property on in the Inspector. The original notes *are* still there. But this assumes you planned to show all the rhythms explicitly and weren't going to just use regular slash notation.
