A quick and easy way to backup workspaces and palettes

• Jul 6, 2015 - 15:29

My system is Win 7 HP:

(1) Workspaces: The user should be able to quickly and easily backup their whole personal workspace from the program itself. This should be possible with a simple command accessible from both a menu and (perhaps) another appropriate location – the workspace area, for example.

(2) Palettes: The current save palette command seems to default to the palette folder (which in Windows is located in a hidden folder – not easily accessible). Wouldn't it be better to default to a more accessible location, perhaps a folder in the MuseScore User space itself, specially named to receive custom palettes. That way the user can easily find and copy the palettes to an external medium.

Comments

I changed the default location to save palettes to the MuseScore folder in Documents.
