Ghost Ties

• Dec 28, 2008 - 01:09

Every now and the things tie together that shouldn't tie. I had the problem with the accidentals that tie over the barline, they wouldn't tie, but then did tie with the first same pitch note further in the score.
Now I have another ghost tie, after pasting some notes 2 notes bars away from each other suddenly tied.

Hi,

I have the same experience: I was entering a song and saved quite often. Everything went ok until I got a crash of Musescore. After that multiple ghost ties showed up. I do not know how to get rid of them now; maybe I should edit the msc file itself. Any help would be appreciated. See attached screenshots for print before crash and result after crash. By the way: I am using 0.9.4 on Ubuntu 64 bit.

I have had this happen when I have had to alter the note that the tie was going to, perhaps adding another bar for example. Sometimes the tie would look for another note to connect to further in the score..
I just deleted the tie by clicking on it and hitting delete and then re-tieing to the new note.
