MuseScore window trying to reopen on second monitor that no longer exists
I often use my Win7 laptop in a dual-head configuration with an external monitor in my office and as a standalone laptop with one screen the rest of the time. I ran and closed MuseScore on the second monitor the other day and, when restarted without the monitor attached, it still tried to stay over there (in other words, the MS window wasn't coming up because it was trying to appear on a monitor that was no longer connected).
This is nonstandard behavior for most apps on Win7, which-- when restarted in the "laptop standalone" config-- seem to know to return to the only available screen even when they were last closed on the second monitor.
This isn't a significant issue if you know the standard Winkey shortcuts for moving highlighted windows between screens, but not everyone knows about said shortcuts. I also would not have known what was going on if not for Win7's stock taskbar animations.
I do not yet know if this also happens on my Mac, but I can see this being a bit more of an issue on that platform if it behaves similarly. So I just thought I'd mention it.

I just experienced the same problem with the sub-windows for the mixer and player controls that had previously been opened on my second monitor (upper screen) with the main window open in the laptop monitor. I don't know about these Windows shortcuts that will scoot off-screen windows back into view and I suspect that is true for 99% of users.

If you haven't figure it out yet, Help / Revert to Factory Settings will fix this. There is also an INI file somewhere under AppData or some such you can edit or delete to fix this without reverting all the rest of your settings.
