request: don't create multiple start menu folders

• Sep 18, 2010 - 15:45

Currently in 'doze if I install 0.9.2 and then "upgrade" to, it installs two folders within the Start Menu, which is a bit unexpected (especially as it appears they all actually point to the latest version,, so it is misleading a tidge).

True you can do it manually. I've had problems with it not deleting the old program files menus, though.

I don't know too much about NSIS, but appears you can have it uninstall the previous version first [1] (or you could just write to Program Files\MuseScore (no version number) and thus overwrite the links--that would probably work).
