Symphony No. 1 - MuseScore is Amazing

• Aug 9, 2015 - 19:34

I think the future MuseScore 5.0 will be better than any other notation software out there. The improvements from 1.3 to 2.0 are incredible, and it keeps getting better.
Prepared this entire symphony for printing with MuseScore 2.0 on a Mac, and there's a possibility it could be performed by a professional symphony this year. Please cross your fingers.
Also, I didn't hire anyone to edit or proofread this. Any issues, inconsistencies, improvements, comments, critiques, etc. would be greatly welcomed.
Thanks!

Okay, I liked movement 2 the best. Musically it's alright. Also, work on that ending of movement 3. End it on a consonant note. You kind of left it "unfinished".

Thanks for the comment, and thanks a ton for taking the time to listen to all of it. Will try to make a "recording" of it before next year - need better samples and more tech know-how.

This piece follows the afterlife from a funeral wake into...well, who knows? Didn't want to end on a consonant, wanted to leave it open for interpretation, assumptions, etc.

Was a tough choice to leave it unfinished, but have to stick to it. And after hearing it a few times, it's grown on me that way.

Thanks again!

Great masterpiece!!!

You're not the only one with the "unfinished" finale. I think it's your original idea and it's fine, so fine.

Really, a very good job.

Thank a lot for share it!!!

Can we use it, as background music for school theatrical performance, for free? ???

Hahahahahaha!!! (It's just a joke)

Greetings and Blessings from Curicó, Chile (South America)!!!!!!!
