strange diagonal line when copy and paste lick

EDIT: known bug #16278: Beaming notes over barlines and line breaks

If I open the attached mscz, select all the notes from beginning till final triplet, and then paste notes again immediately after that final triplet, then at the beginning of meas 5 there is this strange unwanted diagonal line:

Any ideas? Looks like some confused beam that is out of place. Can anyone reproduce?

Tried this on x86-64 arch linux both on 2.0.2 release and 3543170

fascinating, when I select that strange diagonal line, I see that it somehow belongs to the same beam that occurs at end of bar 6.

If I select the beginning quarter note of meas 7 and then change beam properties to "start beam", then the unwanted diagonal line goes away.

I've isolated the visual bug to specifically resulting from a beam middle crossing over a line break (attached test)

I've just verified that bug happens in Windows x86-64 on 32-bit release and windows nightly 0391880 ...here is output:

Upon searching the issue trackers, I discovered this is already known:
