Sony Vaio issue
Hi, gang!!!
Since a while (four or three days), I've noted that MuseScore 2.0.0 into my laptop Sony Vaio VGN-Z21E, under Lubuntu 15.04, sounds with 1 second (or something near that) delay in comparison with the highligthed notes (cursor) on the screen.
What could it be? How could I fix it? ???

Do you mean during playback? Or something else? Can you post the score you are having problems with and describe the problem nmore precisely?

Yes, it is on playback, with any score, doesn't matter how many notes are involved (just one flute staff or a big orchestra), it is always the same, almost 1 second delay time between the cursor highligthed note and the sound.
It is so rare to me because the logic thing, IF there be some issue, should be the opposite behaviour (visual after the sound), because the sound part is more easy to the computers than the visual part. BUT... in my Sony Vaio is this way (and it wasn't before last weekend).
Please, any idea, let me know.

Are you using the default soundfont or another (or an external synth)? What are your settings in Edit / Preferences / I/O?
As for what is easier, both are computational expensive and can take several seconds to process a large score, but MuseScore does all the processing it can up front - visually each time you make any edit to the score, aurally when you first press the play button. But actually rendering the sounds from the soundfonts happens in real time. And that's why you need lots of RAM and a powerful CPU to play large soundfonts.

I've always been using the internal MuseScore synthesizer with the GeneralUser GM and Fluid soundfont files. I didn't perform any change to that since I installed MuseScore on this laptop. The only changes I've done is about the system software automatic actualization process.

No idea what "system software automatic actualization process" is, but maybe start your task manager (whatever it is called for your OS) and see is something is hogging the CPU and/or RAM.

I was talking about the automatic upgrading process Ubuntu has.
Whatever, I found the reason: I don't know when and how but into the MuseScore preferences there was "ALSA Audio" as audio device instead the default "PULSE Audio" option. I changed it, re-inicialized MuseScore and now I have sound and visual full synchronized!!!
That's life!!!
