My score is muted.
My score is completely muted. Now I can hear the metronome fine but when I go
to playback my score I can't hear a thing. I've opened my score several times
and I have never had this problem. Whats weird is I made a new score and
still couldn't hear a thing but the metronome plays fine. I have already
checked the mixer and nothing is muted to my knowledge. Thanks!

1. What OS (operating system) and what version of MuseScore?
2. Do any other existing scores play from within MuseScore?
If not, check to see if the Synthesizer (menu item: View -> Synthesizer -> Fluid Tab) has a soundfont listed.

Most likely something is wrong qwith your installation, and a "Revert to factory settings" as described in the Handbook will fix it (note: simply reinstalling will probably *not*).
