Changing breve to semibreve
1. Create 4/4 piano score
2. Enter breve (you have two semibreves tied in each bar)
3. Highlight the semibreve in the first bar
4. Click on the bar for a semibreve
Should the tie be broken to produce two untied semibreves? You are requesting the value of the note (only given a tie if the value exceeds the bar) - whether it's given a tie or a sharp should be decided afterwards.

To me the current behavior makes sense.
Although I understand the rational for this particular situation, I wouldn't generally expect that choosing a semibreve duration would break any ties.
