Is there a way to make each staff voice play different instruments
I'm arranging a song in hymnbook style. I intend on including piano cue notes. I used voice 2, for the cue notes, however, I need voice 2 to play the piano, not the voice. I remembered there being a way, to do it, but I can't remember. Is there a way?

Not really. For those few instruments are are pre-configured to be able to make different sounds - like trumpet can be open or muted, or violins can play arco or pizzicato - you can switch between sounds on a voice-by-voice basis using staff text. But in general, you can't. If playback is important, you could add a searate invisible staff for the cue note playback.

And those sounds can be from an entirely different instrument. So it would work, but certainly is a hack
