Fraction Characters
I have "Replace 1/2 with fraction character ....." set in Preferences but it doesn't seem to affect the display or printout.
I think the attached jpeg should show what I mean but this is the 1st time I've posted one so apologies if I've not done it properly

looks like you just didn't put a space after the 1/2. It sees 1/2III, not 1/2.
Thanks ceegers. I'd already tried with a space and it didn't work. However, your reply made me play around a bit. It transpires that the "1/2" was part of the Line Properties and presumably not treated as text. I removed it from the Line Properties and reinserted it as stand-alone text. That did it for me
