Prima volta bug - does'nt work over 2 pages

• Oct 15, 2015 - 12:03

When applying a prima volta you can't extend it to page 2 - and then repeat/playback function does'nt work too.
The prima volta simple continues to be drawn on the bottom of page 2.
I did use the correct "shift + right arrow" command.

Hi Jo-Jo.
Sorry for the late replay.

Musescore version 2.0.2
OS X 10.9.2

Sure you can have the score. (Where do you want me to put it?)
(Now I have moved the prima volta to the top of page 2, and it works - but I still have the prima volta span from page 1 to page 2, it does'nt work here unfortunately)

Here you go..
This is the score. As you see the prima volta is now on the top of page 2 - when I created the score, it was first on the bottom line of page 1, and then I did have problems.
(The prima volta at that time spanned from page 1 to the first bars on page 2. The prima volta
line was draw on the bottom of page 2 - and the repeat function did'nt work correctly.)

I hope you can recreate and fix the problem.
Thanks for taking your time - and Musescore is still GREAT!

One more try - with file attached.
I had a new prima volta experience.
With the score of Autumn Leaves I have the prima volta on page 1, but it does'nt repeat correctly.
The prima volta line is extendend fine to the second volta - but as the screenshots shows,
the little red dot, which I assume must move to the end of the prima volta, does'nt move at all.

Thx.

Please read https://musescore.org/en/handbook/volta-0, you certainly did not use "shift + right arrow" on Autumn Leaves' prima volta.
I don't quite get what went wrong with the other score, but deleting and re-entering the volta fixed it there too
Attached the fixed scores.

BTW You should/could enter those hald diminished chord symbols with an ø using the 0 (zero) rather than hard coding that ø, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/chord-symbols#chord-symbol-syntax. You did that for the Δ (using t).
This does make a difference when using the Jazz style
