how to create new measure from left side of the margin (for example, start of a 2nd verse)
I downloaded and installed Musecore v0.9.6.3 revision 3507 yesterday and am still learning. For a freeware, it seems like a very neat music program.
I have completed verse one.
For 2nd verse of a song, how do I bring the new blank sheet of measure to the left so I can create new notes from the second verse of a song?

Do you want to add more measures? Look at this chapter of the handbook: //musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations .
Do you want to pan the score to the left in order to see some newly added measures at the end? Either click on an empty spot of the score and drag with the mouse or press [End] to go to the last page (or [PageDown] to go to next page).

I am afraid I don't know how to better describe my question.
All I want to do is to create new verse of a composition starting from the left margin afresh rather than in the middle of measure.

Can you attach the score your are having trouble with? Normally all you need to do is select the note you want to add lyrics to and choose Create > Text > Lyrics.
