lost composition through crash
HI, Musescore just shut down and we have lost hours of composition yet
autosave is on for saving every minute. Is there any way of getting it back?

Did you try simply starting MuseScore again? It should prompt you to recover the scores you were working on when the crash occured, so you should be right back where you before.
If you had truly gone several hours without saving, I might also advise this is not good practice, with any program. Better to save ones work more regularly and not rely completely on the auto-save. The auto-save in MuseScore and most other programs does not save the actual score file, but a hidden file to be used in the event of crash recovery only.
