Reproducing on mac os through blluetooth
I am Using MuseScore on a Mac Book and I have not been able to listen to the music sheet reproduction through my Bluetooth head set. Can some one help me out with the steps to configure this option?
Will surely appreciate.

Does it work through your speakers? If so, then you need to consult the documentation for your computer or your headset - MuseScore itself really has nothing to do with this. If on the other hand it is not working through the built in speakers either, then probably you have an installation issue, and the first thing to do is follow the instructions in the Handbook under "Reverty to factory settings".

You might need to turn your bluetooth headset on before you launch MuseScore. MuseScore is not actively monitoring new hardware.
I, too, have struggled with this (and it has caused me to retreat from bluetooth). If I restart MuseScore with the bluetooth device attached, the former does pipe through the latter, but the audio volume is far, far, too low, not comparable to the that of the web browser or iTunes.
It would also be a lot better if you didn't have to restart -- confirming the I/O preferences dialog ought be more than enough, no?

Are you saying the audio volume is different rhough your Bluetooth device than through the built-in speakers?
If you are comparing the audio output of MuseScore to that of a typical pop song - which is highly compressed so that it is essentially "ff" dynamic everywhere - then of course quieter passages in MuseScore will be much quieter.

Yes, I am saying that the audio volume is vastly different than the same material through builtin-audio earphones or speakers. And not just one bluetooth device, but any.
I am quite familiar with the audio content of my own scores, thank you, and my local iTunes are largely cantatas and the like, not "typical pop songs", thanks.

I hope you were not offended. Many people don't realize this about audio, so it's a common observation and I had no way of knowing whether it applied to you or not.

I was a bit taken aback by the suggestion that perhaps I tested on a pianissimo passage, or had turned the volume down, or was comparing "Led Zeppelin Live", to Froberger clavichord works (still don't have that midi clavichord) ... but, apology accepted. Now as to the real problem ...
