Musescore fails upon exiting Edit instruments

Is it me, Windows 10, or are others encountering problems
I build my scores by instruments, trying different sounds with the mixer to get what I want. This means that I am also adding and removing instruments on a regular basis, Upon hitting Okay I encounter several problems, The worst of which Musescore stops working, I also get lost staffs and instruments that don't update. I seems random so I can't really send a bug report. Anyone else have this problem? At least MS recovers my work, and I do try to save before edit-instruments, but a pain in the you know where.
