When you make an image with Foto mode, fingerings in TAB have little background boxes behind them.

This is in revision 2613
I never tested Foto Mode (until a few days ago I did not even know what it was!).
Could you try by setting lines to Continuous instead of Broken in the Tablature Properties dialogue box and see if the background boxes are still there? If not, I think I know why they show up.
(Incidentally, I doubt your revision is 2613; 2613 was several months ago and your screen shot shows features implemented only a few days ago; just for comparison, today revision is 3936)

Ah, so I take it that the about box is not programatically set up to show the actual revision :) Yes this was taken from today's revision.

If continuous lines do not show the issue, then the culprit is easy to locate. Correcting it might be somehow less easy though... ;-)
