unselectable rehearsal mark

• Nov 29, 2015 - 04:00

At the beginning of bar 191, I see what appears to be a rehearsal mark 5, which I don't believe I put there (it belongs at the start of bar 151). I can't select it.

To restore an unselectable rehearsal mark to its original anchor position, you can choose a different one (e.g. right click on rehearsal mark #7), then Select > All Similar Elements. This will highlight all the rehearsal marks.
Then press Ctrl+R to reset all to their original positions.

Regards.

The above will indeed work. And if you don't want the marks all reset, you can note after the reset which measure the mark is actually attached to after (you'll find it is 150), then undo. Then select just the measure to which the mark is attached, right click a rehearsal mark, and Select / All Similar Elements In Range Selection, and Ctrl+R again.

BTW, the reason this happened in the first place is most likely that you dragged the mark off the page at some point. See #10290: Objects shouldn't leave the page.
