Adding a bass stave for only part of a song
I have a song that has a mens part only in the refrain, it also has a descant stave in the refrain. Can I add those staves only in the refrain area?

You can add an instrument with a bass clef (press I and add an instrument). Then fill the measure only when needed and hide the empty staves in Style -> Edit global Style -> Score -> Hide empty staves.
