Nightly build #3953 on Mac OSX: Changing the style preference does not update screen completely without a restart

I was playing with the new "Style" preference, and when switching between "light" and "dark", the changes don't fully take effect until the program is restarted. I've included a screenshot that shows part of the UI in the "dark" style, and part in the "light" style.

Note that the palette is in the dark style, while the toolbar is in the light style.
