Adding instrument doesn't adapt to score key signature

1) Create 4/4 piano score in Bb.
2) Add electric piano.

Desired result: The key signature matches what the other instrument(s) are in.
Actual result: It is natural, regardless.

I need an opinion regarding the desired result: If you have two instruments with different signatures each, what should the new instrument choose? Should it perhaps stay in the current behaviour?
