Few Bugs on Android version used as living score on piano

• Jan 8, 2016 - 18:18

First, thanks for the great tool in general and the just-found possibility to display score on android tablet placed on the piano.

BUT: A few wishes remain, some might be considered as bug removals.

1. (Bug) Playback is unusable as soon as bluetooth soundlink is established. Sound is distorted, even worse the tempo is slowed down. This remains after removal of the soundlink until new start of the application.
Hardware: Samsung tab 7.4, Bose soundlink.
Score: Piano only, even not particularly complicated

2. (More missing useability than bug, important wish)
While i like the smooth and steady display (and love to see the chord symbols) there is one problem:
When reading for playing, the score runs out of advance. The score has to jump before the last visible note is reached for anticipation of the coming.
Cheapest solution: I have set the zoom for two entire piano lines, so this view should work for any instrument. Please just redraw after the first line is completed!

3. (Minor wish)
A jump start by pointing on a note or Measure would be fine!

4. (Marginal bug on Android 4.4.2)
"Default application" is not remembered when opening files locally.

I understand the software is in early stage of production; but when considering it a supporting tool for active musicians, the first two points should be solved in a coming update.
Thank you very much in advance!

Thanks for your feedback Carlo.

1. The Bluetooth issue is being worked on as we speak.
2. We are working on this as well, through a vertical scrolling view, so think of it as an endless vertical page
3. You can do this already by a long press on a note
4. This may be either an android 4 issue, either related to the file browsing app. We focus on Android 6 currently and there the default app is remembered.

More feedback on the mobile app is always welcome via support@musescore.com
