Tuplets creating a corrupt file?

• Jan 10, 2016 - 05:22

I have created a score with four sets of tuplets - two in measure 15 and two in measure 17. When I open the file, it comes up with a corrupted file message. When 'Show Details...' is clicked on, it comes up with this:

Measure 15 Staff 3 incomplete. Expected 4/4; Found: 14/12
Measure 17 Staff 3 incomplete. Expected 4/4; Found 13/12

So to be clear, they're both 4/4 bars, the first has 6 crotches - two sets of tuplets - and the second has a crotchet rest, and then five crotchets - the rest and 2 crotchets are one tuplet, and the remaining 3 crotchets make up the last tuplet. I've had 6 years experience with notation and I know this is correct. I can't see another way to fix the bar, as all other threads suggest - and no, this file was not imported, I have written it from scratch. Help?

Note: I apologise for being unable to insert an attachment with the affected bars, but the score in question is on my computer, and this is being typed on my phone, with no way to currently connect the two.

If you can attach it when you're back at your computer, that would be great. For now, all I can suggest is try inserting a new measure next to the problem one, entering the same content, then deleting the original measure.
