You can delete a MuseScore file the same way you would delete any other file one your computer. Is that what you were asking?
What operating system are you using?

I am using windows- I still cannot find anywhere to delete a single score after I have made a manuscript of it an printed it. I have heaps of scores in the system now and would like to delete some of them .

What he is saying is that the way you delete file has *nothing* to do with MuseScore - you delete MuseScore files the same way you delete Microsoft Word files, or JPEG files, or any other type of file on your comuter. For instance, in Windows, you can browse to that file using Windows Explorer, right click it, and select "Delete". Lots of other ways too, but they have nothing to with MuseScore - it's just a matter of knowing how to use Windows.
