How to see individual blank measures
So for some reason my songs now have it so that all of my unused measures, no matter what, mash together into one long rest. I've attached a picture to show what I mean. How do I get it to display all of the empty measures individually?

That's what we call a multi-measure rest, which can be toggled on and off by pressing [M]. See also https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-rests-0#multimeasure-rest.
