Transposing

I play bassoon in a community orchestra. In an upcoming performance I've been asked to play 2nd clarinet. I successfully put in the 2nd part and then transposed it to bsn 5 times. Now on the 6th piece musescore is automatically changing my single flat in the clarinet part to a single sharp. It'll change if I use "concert pitch" or play around, but then when I transpose it to bsn the key signature and notes won't change. "Beauty and the Beast" is theattachement that won't work. "Cruella de Ville" did work. For the life of me I can't figure out what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not really clear to me what you actually did - both parts still seem to be for clarinet. The easiest way to do this would have been to create a score for Bb clarinet, enter the notes as written, then use Staff Properties to change to bassoon. I gather you did something different, but I'm not sure what.

Anyhow, both scores look similar to me in this regard - they both seem to be written for clarinet, so with concert pitch *off* they show everything a whole step higher than they do with concert pitch *on*. So in both cases, with concert pitch *on*, the key is F, with it *off* it is G. This is correct. Unless maybe the clarinet part was supposed to be in F as written, which is Eb concert? In which case, I guess maybe you made the mistake of entering the part with concert pitch *on* instead of *off*.
