6 and 9 in chord symbols
Hi!
On the Chords symbols page in the Musescore handbook there's this image of some chord symbols and I'd like to know how to accomplish the leftmost one with both 6 and 9.
I'm using v. 2.0.2.
Thanks in advance!

You'll first need to select the Jazz Chord Symbols font:
1. In the main menu, go to Style>General>Chord Symbols, and under "appearance", select "Jazz".
2. In your score, select a note or rest, then type Ctrl-K and f, then 6, and then 9.

Thanks Xasman!
I only changed Style>Text>Chord Symbol>Font to MuseJazz. I should have understood that changing the font wasn't going to be enough to get the right behaviour.

No problem - I think it was a perfectly reasonable question. Glad I could help.
I'm trying to do the same thing with 7/11 chords (ie 7 where the six is in the example and 11 where the 9 is in the example) but I cannot get it to work. Is there any way to do this?

That would not be a standard way to render such a chord - actually, it's not a standard chord at all, this would normally be notated simply as "11", or as "sus4" if the intent if for the 11 to replace the 3. So anyhow, MuseScore doesn't have a concept of how to render non-standard chords like that. If you have a special need for this, the solution would be to customize the chord description XML file that controls the rendering, but it's not a job for the casual user. Do a search of this forum for other threads where people exchange ideas on this, type of customization.
