Main window is offscreen - OS 10.6.6

• Mar 24, 2011 - 15:38

Hey there,

So musescore had been working fine for me. For some reason, when I open the program, it will show in the dock it's open. When I swipe 4 fingers down showing all windows, it's not there, however when I click on the musescore icon in the dock, the Pictures at an Exhibition example pops over from the right hand side. When I click on the Pictures window, it disappears. The "create a new song" option window is present, allowing me to select instruments, titles, etc., but as soon as I hit complete, the music window is offscreen.

I imagine it's something wrong with my display, but I've gone through all of the options in my display menu (under system preferences) that I can.

Any ideas? I tried installing again, no luck.

Thanks!

I'm using this program to teach a music theory class, and the kids computers work fine. The teacher? No luck.

Thanks!

hey there,

I use a projector every day in class but it mirrors what's on my screen, but once I disconnect it, it's supposed to just run off the native screen.

Every other program works fine, it's just musescore. Do you think it could be something in the musescore preferences?
