How do I delete silences from secondary voices?

I am in the making of a piano cover and I am using several voices on right hand. I don't want the silences from this countermelodies to stay in the sheet music (p.e: in 4/4 I type a half note and I want to delete the silence halfnote resultant from it)
How do I accomplish this?
