Distribuir uniformemente los sistemas en las páginas con Muse Score 4

• Jul 22, 2023 - 17:31

Hello.
I really tried all sort of things, but I cannot get to fit reasonably a number of systems per page.
Muse Score seems to behave in a very strange way.
In my score there are some pages in which the systems are correctly and evenly distributed and there are other pages in which there is only one or two systems, lefting a lot of space unused. See four pages of the score in image attached to get one idea on this.
This score comes from an "import" of a Music XTML file. Can this be a problem?
There seems to be something "odd" in the file itself, as this strange behaviour did not happened to me with a score made from scratch.
Any hints or advices will be very welcome.

You mean adding more systems to a page?

Add a Staff spacer fastened down to the bottom staff of the top system, then adjust the height to lessen the gap between two particular systems. It will happen automatically if this decrease enables another system to fit on the page.

Many thanks for your kind response.
It seems to be something in this particular score that does not permit to have more than 6 meadures per page, no matter the settings on page, systems or staves I choose.
I finally solve it just opening an empty score with the number of measured I had, and copy-paste the old score there.
It now works normally as far as I know.
I just post this in case that somebody finds it useful.
Best.
