MuseScore doesn't start
Hi there,
first of all thanks for a great product. I've been playing with it for a week now and from what I've seen so far it suits my needs perfectly. I ran into a few problems, but no major stuff, until today: When I start MuseScore, it shows the splash screen for a couple of seconds, then I get the standard Windows XP error message (mscore.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. ...).
So, yes, my system is Windows XP SP2 and it's MuseScore Version 0.9.3
So far I tried reinstalling the application, which didn't help.
Any hints on what could be the problem?*

Have you made any modification to default ? Such as changing the soundfont ? or something else ? Can you try with the last prerelease : http://prereleases.musescore.org

Thanks for the fast reply. Yes, I played around with the settings because MuseScore just played the first of four staffs in my score (although it plays both staffs in the demo score). Anyways, I didn't change the soundfont, but I'm not sure about what changes I made.
I tried prerelease 1115, but got the same problem. But this time the console showed and gave me the same error message as described in No audio output. Since I can't start the application, I can't try the solution given there. Is there another way to get back to default settings? Shouldn't the reinstall have taken care of that?
