No lyrics appear when entered
I followed all of the instructions on how to enter lyrics in the manual, but only dots appeared when I tried to type the lyrics in. I tried adjusting font size etc. but nothing worked. Please let me know what I should do differently. Thanks!

I typed "lyric dots" into the search box on the right-hand side of this web page. It returned the following page (among others discussing the topic):

Thanks so much for your quick reply! So all I need to do is connect a printer and the lyrics will work normally?

Do you recommend installing the software patch mentioned in the last comment on the forum you referred me to above?

Download and install MuseScore 0.9.6 from this website (green button on top).
If you already have MuseScore 0.9.6 (check the Help -> about box) and still got the problem, install a printer, if you don't have one you can get a PDF printer like PDFCreator for free
