no time signature
I have a piece that I need to transcribe as my copy is getting very old and ragged (also handwritten). However, the first half of the piece does not actually have a time signature and I would like to create the same effect on Musescore. I could create bars, but would prefer not too and would not allow the 'free spirit' of the piece. However, the added complication that I can foresee is to break up the music into line, eg to have 3 bars worth of music per line.
Anyone help?

no measure: just make it invisible (use the contextual menu on the time signature)
line (and page) breaks are available in the third last palette, called in french "Sauts & espacements"
and perhaps read the manual thoroughly.....

I was hoping to avoid making things invisible.
The need to know how to break up the line was inthe context of no time signature as I am aware how to do that with a time signature.
