'Reminder' accidental
How can I add an accidental between brackets which is commonly used as a ‘reminder’?
In the accidental palette I can see the bracket symbol but I cannot ‘activate’ it so to say.

Thanks lasconic. That works on single notes. In the attachment I want to add a
reminder at the note which consists of an up-stem and down-stem b almost at the end of the measure. This to remind that also low b must be played with a natural. How can I do this?

an accidental applies only to the octave it is on so, to have the low b play as a natural you would need to actually notate it as a natural.

Perhaps you are right....... I will take a look into a theory book.
But when I want to place a natural there it appears as a flat and I
cannot change it into a natural.

Xavierjazz is correct that the note needs an explicit natural sign (for the reason he stated).
You should be able to make it a natural either by raising the pitch with the UP arrow or by clicking on the natural sign in the note entry toolbar.
Remember that the note occurs in two voices simultaneously, and the pitch will thus need to be changed for each.

I can solve this problem by first deleting the up-stem 16th b (a 16th rest takes it's place), then add the natural
to the down-stem 8th b and then again placing the up-stem 16th note.

Others will correct me if I'm wrong but it's not conventional writing and will not be expected by a player. A natural applies normally only on the same octave, so if you want the low b to a natural one you should indicate it without the parenthesis.
Adding a natural can be done with the toolbar or with the arrow key by moving the note up or down.

You are all corrrect! I just have it looked it up in my theory book, accidentals only apply on the same octave.
