General Question

I found this program on Kim Komando and I would appreciate some information.
I am an opera singer with limited piano skills and I have been using a Casio vl tone keyboard (that is giving up the ghost after 30+ years) that allows me to input my role"s music and then allows me to correct note values with one button and play it back.

From what I have been reading, your program might be a possible solution as I said the keyboard is giving up. Am I correct in this assumption?
I would appreciate any information and if this program is not what I am looking for maybe a suggestion as what may be out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Thank you

I'm not a singer, but an instrument player and I know almost nothing about electr(on)ic keyboards, then I may not understand exactly how do you use your current hardware.

Anyway, I use MuseScore (also) for something very similar, to rehearsal consort pieces when other players are not available. So, I believe it would almost certainly do what you look for.

However, MuseScore is a quite developed score writer, with many functions and features, mainly geared toward creating scores for printing and/or distributing, which also has playback functions. This might be a bonus, but also means the learning curve to start using the program might be fairly steep.

So, I would suggest just to try: install the program and see if it is useful for you.

The program is rather small, with little disk space demands and it does not 'pollute' your operating system in any way (as far as I know), so it is fairly secure to install, try for some days (or weeks) and remove if you do not like it. Hopefully, you will like it...
