Synthesizer
(Windows Vista). Successfully loaded Musescore 2.0 Beta 2. Whenever I click view/synthesizer Musescore closes down.Any ideas?

Maybe Vista has the same problem as XP? See http://musescore.org/en/node/42241.
Could you try a later nightly build?

Sorry, a bit of a tech inadequate. While I've seen the term used not sure what "later nightly build" means.....

Ah.... Maybe I'd better steer clear of 2.0 beta for the time being. I doubt if I'd have much to add to the technicalities.... Thanks for your help.

I've just tried on XP: sound does work in the latest build for me.

I had exactly the same problem on XP, but Nightly Builds which came soon after 2.0 beta fixed the problem.
