Wrong image?
Regarding this handbook page:
https://musescore.org/en/node/36106#split-join
Is the image illustrating the 'Join' function correct?
It shows a highlighted (blue) slur, together with a selected measure, for a flute part written on a small staff.

As said in another thread, looks wrong to me too
The measure *before* the selected measure appears to be the *result* of a join. There are way more than 4 beats, but the time signature says 4/4. So it looks like someone selected two measures, did the join, then mvoed the selection, then did the screenshot. Which is to say, not a good illustration, but perhaps not completely off the wall, either.

What about just cropping the image, like this:
My guess is this was probably the original intention.

Better would be before and after images

Marc:
Aha!
Zack:
Cropping looks good - because it removes that confusing 'selected' measure, so one's focus is on the 'joined' measure. (Although why further confound things with that small staff?)
Jojo:
A before and after image is probably the best idea.

I made this screenshot... but it was some time ago , so I don't really remember.
It was normally to mesure long that I joined (like a cadanza would be written).
I may have done involuntary something wrong....

No problem. For now I took Zack's image
