Dotted 8th note
Is there a possibility to adjust the dot behind an 8th note to the right? Because if
the note it is placed between two lines of a staff, it is almost not noticed.
Adjusting the flag instead is for me an unsatisfactory solution.

Which version of MuseScore are you using? The dot is not movable as far as I know. But in MuseScore 0.9.6.3 the dot position is quite good.

I am using version 0.9.6.3 and in the attachment which I give, the 8th notes are upstem tailed ones.

JoeAlders, The note stem is shorter than normal in your example (because it is a multi-voice context and up-stem notes are high on the staff). If you lengthen the stem of the eighth note it will not overlap with the augmentation dot. Double click on the stem and drag the handle to adjust the stem length.

David, I did that but was not satisfied with the result. The difference between the length
of the other up stem notes and the 8th notes is too visible.
Can there (in a future version) be a possibility made to nudge the dot? That would i.m.h.o the most satisfying solution.

JoeAlders, the lastest nightly builds for a future version of MuseScore already allow you to adjust the position of the augmentation dot using the arrow keys (or alt+arrow for small movements).

Yes, this does appear to be the same issue as the topic chen mentioned.
I don't think it's an issue with the dot, but rather the flag/tail being too big. For a default, I would make the flag/tail not go down as far (looking up examples online, you often see it not going nearly as far... http://siennasguidetomusic.com/Images/examples/dotted_eighth.png is good), but it would be great to be able to adjust either.
