How Can I Just Have Just The Instruments That are Playing Be on The Score

There are a lot of parts in my score and I am trying to downsize the amount of rest measures for instruments that aren't playing because it is just wasted paper space for printing. How can I get only the instruments that are playing to display and not have every single instrument displayed all the time even if they don't play and have rests. Thanks.
