Bars Corrupted?

• Aug 3, 2015 - 08:47

I washouts making a score when this (3rd measure) happened(I put the 4/4 sign to indicate it was in 4/4.). It was fixed later on, but scared me to be honest.

Normally, yes. But it looks like you enabled the option "Style / General / Display note values across measure bar", which is specifically designed to allow notes like this. It's also clearly labelled "EXPERIMENTAL", which could explain any issues you might see using it. But in this case, it is doing exactly what it is designed to do.

Is it possible you started this score by copying an existing one that had this option enabled? Options dont' enable themselves...

Anyhow, what we would really need to see is steps to reproduce a corruption. Once a score is already corrupted there is little we can do except help you fix it, but we need steps to reproduce in order to have much chance of fixing the underlying problem that led to the corruption.
