Can't get the correct timing
I may be expressing myself incorrectly but here goes. Below is some music that I have copied from a physical sheet of music.
In the original there is no rest. How do I deal with this as it's causing problems at the end of the music too, I can change the measure to 2/4 which I did but that only removed part of the rests.

pickup measure (anacrusis)
Right-click on the measure> Change the "Actual" value (eg. 3/4)

Thanks for your reply but I did this.. the problem is that I appear to be out by 0.5 and you can only increase/decrease the measure by whole values

Nope, you can Change the numerator and the denominator, one as a drop-down menu, the other via direct entry or the spinbox. You need 3/8 here
