how to add a new part/staff to an existing score?
hello,
I started a score for single voice and piano and input most of the existing music but then realised I needed a second voice on its own staff.
I can envision two solutions: 1. is somehow I get back to the new score wizard where you get to choose the template or add your own instruments; 2. I would also like to know if I can keep the same template (eg. the jazz lead sheet template) but just add a second staff for a harmony or duet partner.
any assistance would be most appreciated!!

Not to worry, staves can be easily added or removed at any time via Edit / Instruments (or press keybaord shortcut "I").

Okay, but how about this: I have a lead sheet that I'd like to add a bass clef staff just to the first 4 measures - can't see how to do that.

add it, fill it, use "Hide empty staves"
