How to add brackets or braces?
Hi there,
I'm in an emergency: I have a trombone trio piece and need to add either a big bracket or a brace (I don't know which) to the left of each system... I found brackets and braces in the master palette, but the brackets, when applied, only apply to one staff, not all three.
Help please!

Sorry, I should have said: I tried that already and for some reason it doesn't allow me to extend brackets, yet I CAN extend braces. Which do I need?

I just realized that I CAN in fact extend a bracket, but only to cover 2 of the trombones, not all three. See attached.

Confirmed. Looks like a bug to me and the culprit seems to be the 4th and hidden staff, if you remove that, the bracket can be made to span all 3 remaining staves.
It works too to just unhide it, extend the bracket and hide it again

I made visible the trumpet, made the change and hid it again
