Staff distances uneven
The distance between the Tenor (1) and Tenor (2) staves is OK. Then comes the Baritone with an increase in distance, and then Bass with a further increase. Finally the Piano staves with another non-standard distance.
The 'Extra distance above staff' setting is 0 on all staves and if you load the file you will see that in Page view this space anomaly is not applied to all measures. It seems to have something to do with paging, but I cannot find any setting that seems to affect it.
This is a perennial problem for me as I 'translate' my Finale files to MuseScore via Music XML, at least until they have all been copied over. This was a prtially completed file in Finale. (MuseScore is SO much better than Finale - particularly where lyric placings are concerned.)
The only thing I would say, having mentioned lyrics, is that in Finale I always had to increase the distance of the lyrics of T2, Baritone and Bass parts and this spacing appears to be reflected in this anomaly, but that may be a red herring.

Seems you used a 1st line of lyrics for Tenor 1, but a 2nd line for Tenor 2, a 3rd line for Bariton and a 4th line for Bass, You should be using 1st line for them all, those extra liens (1, 2 or 3) do tkate extra space, even if not conatining anything.
Attached with lyrics on page 2 and 3 fixed.

Thanks and thanks for fixing. That makes sense as I am guessing the XML has interpreted the additional space as a line. What I am not sure of is how do I change them all to 1st Line on future occassions?

In MuseScore basically rewrite the lyris in line one and delete from the other liens.
Maybe you could get rid of that extra distance in Finale, export as XML and import in MuseScore again? Might be easier.

OK Thanks. Not too onerous a task. Appreciate the help.
