Editing PDFs
I've at last found a PDF editor that will open the PDFs generated by MuseScore properly.
Previously I have been presented with a load of junk (DrawPlus and PagePlus)
Notation symbols about 4 times their proper size (Inkscape)
Refusal to open the file at all (Scribus)
Lining up all the notes horizontally at the top of the page (LibreOffice Draw)
With PDFEdit I finally struck gold.
So for any of you wanting to clean up MuseScore's PDF output that is the answer.
It only runs on Linux though.

LOL -- btw: there is a free account option at acrobat.com. It has some limitations, but you can upload and edit pdfs there.
