hi, is musescore 2 capable of playing quarter notes ? i tried to change the
note to -d but it give me the same tone !

I guess you mean quarter tone (pitch), not quarter note (duration). You can tune notes, via the inspect, in cent. 50 can't would be a quarter tone, as 100 cent is a semitone

It woud be so nice if we could set the value of a pitch change not only to a note, but to an accidental sign, for example the inverted b minus 40 cents and then it always changes the pitch of the same note in the same manner. And then in the situation, where we really want a note to behave differently (for example in a certain situation minus 36 cents, instead of 40) we can set it in the Inspector.
It's nice, that microtone playback works theoretically, but I must confess that I never use it because it's too complicated and time consuming. So for most pieces I don't use any playback.
